Once the baseline habitat and species surveys have been completed and the ecological issues on a site are known an Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA) collates the findings together into one document. The preparation of the document follows discussions regarding the design of the scheme (including biodiversity offsetting) and outlines the impacts along with the agreed mitigation and compensation that will be implemented. This level of report is appropriate for submission in support of planning applications.
Our surveyors are experienced in the preparation of EcIA and will provide advice throughout the process and will prepare the documentation required at all stages of the process.
