Where ecological issues are identified on a site an Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) may be required to oversee the works on site. The clerk of works will carry out the required daily measures that are required and will be present on site to advise personnel where additional issues arise from the ongoing works. This is often required for habitat clearance works or demolition, particularly when a Natural England protected species licence is in place.
Our surveyors are experienced in carrying out on site ECoW duties on site and will carry out on site briefings and supervision, as required.
